Superdrug Mini Haul

Hey  !
As a small Christmas treat , here is a mini (very mini) Superdrug haul! There isn't much to say in this introduction , apart from ...LET THE HAUL BEGIN !
The first thing I bought was the Zoella , Blissful Mistful body mist . I love the packaging , and the scent is heavenly (I'm not just saying that) Since this purchase , I have used the perfume several times , and I never get tired of it .The scent is very flowery & sweet , and I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a gift to give someone , or if they just want something for themselves ! The perfume was £8 , which I think is a bargain ,considering the quality .
The next two (and final-told you this was mini!) things I bought were 2 Kate Moss lipsticks . The first one I bought , was probably my favourite . It was the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in the number 22. This is a bright red lipstick , it's kind of like the ones you see Taylor Swift wear, which brings me to why I bought this specific shade . Apart from loving the colour ,and consistency - I noticed that it was a RED lipstick , and the number was 22 , obviously this sent me into a fangirl overdrive , and I had to keep it in, otherwise I would receive some odd stares . This product was £5.49 , which is a reasonable price , as I've heard great things about these lipsticks !
The next lipstick I purchased , was the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in the number 40.Apart from smelling like something super sweet (which is an added bonus !) this product instantly caught my eye . It's a peachy nude colour , and this lipstick was also £5.49 . The reason for this purchase , was because I had seen a lot of people rocking this shade, and I wanted to give it a go, so hopefully I won't look like I just murdered a peachy nude smurf !
That's all for now , hope you enjoyed today's post , and I'll be posting more soon. If I don't write anything before Christmas , MERRY CHRISTMAS !!
Bye Xx

Secret Santa Gift Guide & Tips

Hey !
So Christmas has nearly arrived & if you are anything like me - then you'll be either stuck on what to get or you'll be participating in a whole load of Secret Santa groups! I find getting presents for your loved ones easier , as you know them well - however , getting presents for someone you don't know ( In A Secret Santa  Present Exchange ) is way harder !This blog post will show you some cute things that everyone will enjoy receiving :)
The first thing I recommend getting if you're either in a rush , or have a budget is something from Lush . The bath bombs , lip scrubs , soaps etc are amazing quality and smell amazing too !The product that I have photographed is the 'Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar' . This was £5.25 , and smells like the scent 'Snow Fairy' . I feel that the bell adds a real Christmas feel to it , and it generally looks aesthetically pleasing & would be an adorable gift ! I believe there is a Christmas version of this bubble bar , which is called 'The Magic of Christmas'. Personally , I didn't like that scent much - however it's up to you ! A final tip that i'd like to add ,if you're looking to purchase something from Lush , is that they usually sell gift packages with an assortment of products in . These are already wrapped , in case you're like me - and have no skill when it comes to wrapping gifts . Of course the packages will be slightly pricey , so it depends on who you're shopping for .
The next thing , which I think is a cute idea - is getting lots of cute presents and putting them in a stocking . I know this is usually done in families , however these presents can be a bit more than a few nail polishes and socks . You could personalise the stocking , perhaps by stitching the gift receiver's name on it ? You could keep photos of them in the stocking , food , or anything else they might like !
Next up , are calendars . If you have been here for awhile , you'll know that I'm a HUGE Swiftie ; hence the picture is of a Taylor Swift calendar . I got this calendar from Poundland . Yes , as you probably have guessed - it was £1. It's not the official calendar , however it isn't tacky & each picture for each month can be used as posters afterwards ! There were a range of calendars available , not just of Taylor Swift . If you're unsure about getting a calendar from Poundland ,you can always get the official calendars of that particular artist , it'll be more pricey - but will definitely have better quality .
The next gift idea is linked to the other person I fangirl over , Zoella. If you watch her , then you'll know that she brought out some limited edition Christmas products/package sets . Those products are incredible and surprisingly at a good price! If you don't want to get an already made set , you can make one yourself , by mixing  and matching! In the photo I've included some of the products I've purchased from her collections - depending on the person , you can choose how many products you want to include , and when you've decided , you can use Zoella's Christmas present wrapping video to wrap them!
This gift , is actually a commonly used idea . It's a cute D.I.Y , however I think you can get these pre-made at some stores . Hot Chocolate in cup ! Except , it's not been heated or mixed at all! It's better than it sounds, trust me . So you'll need a mug , I would recommend a glass mug , or a Christmas styled mug . Fill a cellophane bag (halfway or 3/4 ? You choose) with cocoa powder , personally I love the Cadbury's cocoa powder the best ! You then add things like marshmallows ,sugar & cookies (Mmmm...!) After you have tied the cellophane bag up ( I recommend using cute ribbon etc.) , you place it in the mug , and then you can wrap up the gift in any way you want !
Jewellery is another commonly bought gift . You can do many things with this idea, for example , you can personalise it , buy pre-made sets of the jewellery etc. Whenever I receive jewellery , I tend to keep the box it comes in , am I the only one? There isn't much to say for this idea , apart from the places I recommend purchasing from . These would be , Claires & Acessorize. Despite being quite pricey , they sell the cutest pieces of jewellery from fancy to quirky !
The next gift idea , is one of my personal favourites ! It consists of a Christmas jumper & Christmas accessories. With this gift , you can pick and choose what you want to include . I chose some earmuffs , and a cute Christmas hat ! I got the hat from ASDA:George , last year . I can't remember the price , but I got it along with these festive Christmas tree gloves . I also got the earmuffs from ASDA:George , yet again , I don't remember the price (sorry  :P)  I feel that everyone should be festive during the Christmas period , and this would be perfect for someone who loves fashion , or who may not have many festive pieces in their wardrobe (saying this , do NOT raid someone's wardrobe to see what they wear - trust me , that can get awkward...heh)
Next , we have what I call the 'Movie Slumber/Pamper Night Bundle' . This another one of my favourites . Again , like the previous gift idea , you can pick and choose . Sadly , I didn't have any Christmas films to photograph , however I did include some popcorn and a big ,fluffy, pink onesie ! The whole purpose for this gift , is to provide the gift receiver with all the vital thing needed for a movie night ! Instead of a onesie , you could include some cute, fuzzy socks , and you can include more snacks if you want - it's a real flexible idea !
The final idea , is a memory frame . Ignore the Minions is the photo , I was in a very...'Minion Mood'. All you need is a simple- okay, not simple -frame (like the one shown). You can decorate the sides ( I attempted to do so ...I never was  great with paint  ) . Now , all you need to do is print out some personal pictures to do with the person that you're getting the gift for , and put them into the picture slots ...and VOILA !
Those were all my tips/ideas for Secret Santa , I hope you got some inspiration , and if you do try out one of these ideas , send me a picture via. email or Instagram ! That's all for now , and if I don't post anything in between now and Christmas ...MERRY CHRISTMAS ! I HOPE YOU ALL GET WHAT YOU WISH FOR !
BYE !Xx

Chocolate Or Beauty Advent Calendars ?

Hey  !
I'm really sorry that I haven't been posting much - I have been insanely busy and my mum has brought in this new rule which is 'No using the internet on weekdays , unless it's for studies ...' , which reduces the amount of time I have to make blog posts, nevertheless - I'm really sorry , and I will blog more often from now on !
Anyway , so Christmas is approaching and I assume that most of us are going to be going advent calendar shopping soon ( I know I have to!) .This year I was debating about whether I should get a beauty calendar -or stick with chocolate , and it occurred to me , that some of you guys may be wondering about the same thing too! So I thought that I should make a blog post , giving you the pros and cons of the two different calendars !
Pros Of Beauty Calendars + Cons Of Chocolate Calendars.
•Firstly , Beauty Calendars have a range of things in them , so its always exciting to open , (Not saying its boring to open the Chocolate Calendars - who can deny chocolate !?) .Chocolate Calendars only have one type of chocolate in them ,  and they only last for a small amount of time (or how long you take to eat the chocolate ).
•This brings me to my next point . Since Beauty Calendars contain beauty products , they won't run out in the 5-10 seconds it takes you to eat chocolate .You will be able to keep the products safely , so you can use them after Christmas too! It's like getting a Christmas present every day !
•This can be a pro & a con for Chocolate Calendars , as it depends on how much of a chocoholic you are . As a self confessed chocoholic , this is a huge point .Okay , so picture this , you wake up & rush downstairs to eat the days' chocolate , and then you hear the calendar calling out your name & begging you to open an extra door (Don't lie , I know its happened to everyone , at least once !) What do you do? Well...heh...you definitely don't listen to it...IS IT BAD THAT I ALWAYS LISTEN TO IT !? Anyway - I feel that with the Beauty Calendars, you can restrain yourself some more (well it depends what you like best ...)
•I have a friend who is allergic to dairy products (including chocolate ) , so for her - she can only buy Beauty Calendars - or no calendars at all. This can be a common problem with Chocolate Calendars, so you must ensure you read the ingredients before buying !
• My final pro for Beauty Calendars , is that sometimes they come in drawers , or boxes . These can be re-used  for storage purposes etc. (Or in my case , as a room decoration - considering that I'm a huge junkie/hoarder)
Cons Of Beauty Calendars + Pros Of Chocolate Calendars .
•The cons of Beauty Calendars are that they tend to be very pricey , and as someone who doesn't necessarily a have a load of cash - they are more expensive that your standard Chocolate Calendar . I think the cheapest one I have come across is the Tanya Burr - 'Deck the Hauls' calendar . This is £25 , which is definitely a bargain - considering the fact that all products are of extremely good quality !
•Another con of this particular type of calendar is the amount of days it supplies for . Beauty Calendars tend to only stock up to 12 days worth of goodies (sparing a few , however those are more pricey ). If you do decide to get one of these , I suggest you open a door every 2 days :-).
•Chocolate Calendars always stock up to the full 24 days , and the chocolate is extremely good quality (Cadbury's is my favourite !)
•If you do need a last minute advent calendar , Chocolate ones are always the best to go to , as they often have endless supplies of them , and are more commonly found!
I hope this helped , and if you don't want either of these calendars , you can always forget them and go for a play mobile one ;-) ! I'm still not sure what I should get , so leave a comment saying which one you would go for ,and hopefully I'll decide quickly ! Thanks for reading !

TAYLOR SWIFT 1989 CONCERT GRWM

Hey  !
So , I know this post is long over due considering the concert I went to was on the 27th of June - but I have been really busy (which I know is a common excuse - but I really was !) If you read my February Favourites post , you would know that I am a mega Swiftie . I also briefly mentioned I was going to her 1989 concert in London ,Hyde Park. The concert was amazing and I loved every single bit , so today I thought I would
just write about how I got ready for the concert etc. (#interesting !) It is a very basic look and I did my make up in Taylor Swift style (ooooh Taylor Swift pun there ;-) ) Well , let's begin !
At the concert I wore a grey skater skirt which I got from H&M . I also wore a Black Taylor Swift Hoodie - which was from the official Taylor Swift 1989 Store . Since it was quite hot , I wore a Black camisole underneath  , so if it got super hot I could just remove the Hoodie , however there was no need as I didn't need to (because for some wacky reason I never get hot , or it could have been because I have the hairiest arms in the universe and I didn't really want 65 000 people to see them - that was probably that reason ...)
The Make-Up
The Make-Up was pretty basic , I went for a natural eye shadow shade , with a bold red lip , and winged eyeliner . The products I used were :
•Johnsons  Body Care Lotion
•Natural Shadow and Primer Glow Palette 2 - Barry M .
•Lancome Red Lipstick (Not sure what number and shade , but any bright red lipstick should do )
•Rimmel Exaggerate Black Eyeliner
•Collection Lengthening Mascara
•A Peachy Blush ( Super sorry that I don't know the brand !)
Tutorial
•I started off by applying a thin layer of the lotion on my face . Since I don't have many 'in your face' spots , I didn't find it necessary to use any foundation or concealer , however if you do have a prominent spot , and you want to conceal it , I would recommend applying any concealer etc. after the cream .
• After that I got my eye-shadow palette and started  by applying the slightly shimmery ,golden shade all over my eyelid . This is very pigmented , so be careful when applying , because you don't want it to stand out too much ! I then got the more chestnut brown colour and just applied that to the corner of my eye .I then got my blending brush and merged  the two colours so it looks more natural .
•After I had finished with my eye shadow I moved onto my eyeliner . I started by applying a thin layer to my lashline , and then I slowly started to build it up into a cat eye .
• I then applied  my mascara (two blinks n' a shimmy)
•Then , I applied the peachy blush on my cheek bones (just think goldfish  if you don't know where to apply it )
•Finally , the lips . Because the lipstick I used felt very dry on my lips , I put on a bit of lip balm before applying it . (If you want to know how to make your own lip balm click  here (hopefully that link works *prays nervously )
•After you put on the lipstick , you have finished the Make-Up look , and you are ready to move on to hair
Hair
The hair was very simple . Taylor Swift has a very classy look , with her simple fringe and occasional bangs - and that is what I re-created .
This hairstyle can be done with any hair length , despite Taylor's hair being short .(NOTE : This look works best with straight and wavy hair -I'm not sure whether it works with proper curly hair , if you try it please send me a picture , I would love to see !)
•This step can be missed if you already have a side swept fringe , however if you don't  there is a simple way to get a temporary one . Start by taking  part of you hair (closest to your forehead) and twist it round .
•Once it is all twisted , place it across your forehead , in an angled position - just like how  Taylor's fringe looks (does that even make sense ?!)
•You then get some hair grips (bobby pins etc.) And quickly pin the ends of the 'fringe' to the rest of you hair . Once that is done you can just play around with the look , you can shape the fringe and potentially crimp the rest of your hair , or just leave it how it is .
AND THAT IS THE FINISHED LOOK . I know I said this earlier but the concert was truly incredible , and I had such a good time , even though our place in the concert wasn't the best area as it was quite far from the stage , it was still such an amazing experience , and as a Swiftie - I have never screamed and danced so much in my life ! My favourite bit was actually before the concert started (weird , I know ) It was when we entered and the people by the gates handed us these light up bracelets and said 'A gift from Taylor' . I felt so special , even though everyone got one , but  that doesn't matter !
Hope you enjoyed this post  ! And if you have been to any concerts lately , leave a comment below !
           Bye !

One Bobble Wonders

Hey  !
I wanted to do a post on hairstyles but I didn't really know what hairstyle to do , and then I had a mega brain wave ! Personally I'm always in a rush , and need really quick hairstyles to do , that also only need to use one bobble (hair-tie ) and a minimum amount of hair-slides as I always lose those kind of things  ( please say I'm not the only one !) That gave me the idea to do a post on One Bobble Hairstyles.
Braided Pony:
I'm not sure if this hairstyle has already been thought of ,or whether it has a better name (  i'm really bad at naming things as you can see ) but I thought this is a really cute way to spice up a boring ponytail .
•Start off by  tying your hair in a basic pony tail ( simply just take all of your hair and tie it up )
• Then get a small chunk of hair from the ponytail  ( the longest area )  and split that chunk into three parts , and then braid (plait) it normally . If you don't know how to do a plait , I am now going to do my best at explaining how to , in words ~ So , start off by taking one of the side parts (within the three parted chunk of hair) and pull it over the middle part (eg: if you started with the left side - you take the left side and put it over the middle so now the left side is in the middle - if that made sense ?) You then take the right part and pull it over the new middle part (the original left ) and then get the original middle (which should be on the left side ) and pull that over the original right .After that just continue doing the same thing (pulling the side parts over the middle part etc.) ~ Yay , I did better than I thought I would (even though I just realised I could have just said the last  bit of the explanation, but you know what they say - details are caring... they don't say that ? Well I guess I just started something new ;-) )
•After braiding the area of hair , you are going to hold the braid by the end , making sure it doesn't come loose , and you are then going to wrap it round the pony tail ( so where the bobble would be )  and then tuck the extra bit of the braid into the bobble . It will look like the braid is the bobble ( if your worried you did it wrong !)
Messy Bun:
Oh yes , you can do these with one bobble , say what! Well here we go .
• Start off by tying your hair into a pony tail wherever you like (whether you want a high messy bun or low messy bun - is that even a thing?!)
• You are then going to twist the pony tail round , so it is easy to manage , and then you are going to wrap it around the bobble , and tuck the end into the bobble (hair-tie or whatever you call it ).
•That is basically the hairstyle done , it usually looks fine with a slight messy look to it , but if you feel the need to , you can shape it however you like and add in a few hair-slides .
Dutch Braid :
Well this is going to be hard to explain ! Just remember how to do a braid , and you'll be fine !
• Start off by separating your hair into two equal parts . Then get one part and separate a small part of hair from it .
•Begin to braid the small part of hair , but as you braid it , add in a bit more hair from the remaining of the big part of hair  ( eg: If you were about to place the right part over the middle part , take some hair from the big part and add it to the right part and then place it over the middle !) You won't be able to use ALL of the big part of hair - wow that sounds weird - anyway just keep going until you reach about five centimetres before the end of your hair , and then just continue to braid it normally , without adding extra parts of hair (Seriously why does this sound so weird ?)
• Finish off by tying the end of the braid , and voila ! You're done .
Simple Braid :
This one is very easy , if you know how to do a plait .
•Begin by separating a small amount of hair from the rest .
• Then braid the bit of hair , normally , and you're done .Told you it was simple ! The size of the braid is your choice , whether you want a thin or chunky one , you choose!
Princess Plait :
Again , I don't know the proper name for this , but I know it's been done before (in this way , I'm not so sure . ..) Anyway let's get started !
• So get a small part of hair ( ideally , the hair closest to your face )
•You then braid it normally and tie it at the end .
• Then , go to the other side of your hair/face ,and in around the same position , separate approximately the same amount of hair as you did the first time , and braid it normally again.
• Make sure to hold the braid that doesn't have a bobble to keep it fastened . You are then going to pull both braids to the back of your head , and then quickly pull of the bobble for the first braid , substituting it with the grip of you hand .
•You then merge (icky word alert) the ends of both braids together and quickly tie them together like a pony tail.
• You can then leave it like that , or add in a few hair-slides etc .
Simple Up-Tie/Bun/Braid :
This is a very simple hairstyle , in which you can add in your own twists .Here are some ideas !
•Start by getting a chunk of your hair from the top , and separate it from the bottom .Once you are happy with it (There are no bumpy areas of hair here and there -again, apologies if this sounds really ...odd) then get a bobble and tie it .
• Then split the chunk of hair in two , and pull each side to add more volume . You can now leave it like this or add in the following (or if you have any other ideas ):
Bun:
For this , all you need to do is to twist the top, separated part of hair ( so it is easy to manage) and then wrap it around the bobble , and then tuck in the end (very similar to the technique for the messy bun)
Braid:
This alternate version uses the same technique as the braided pony (ooh look at me referring to my own name !) Take a small bit off the top, separated area , and braid it . Then hold the end of the braid whilst wrapping it around the bobble , and then simply tuck in the end of the braid into the bobble !
So, they were my favourite 'One Bobble Wonders' I do have more , but I decided to just go with these for today , but if you want to know the others , then please leave a comment saying so ( because otherwise I wouldn't know , obviously !) Also if you have another 'One Bobble Wonder' I'd love to hear it , so leave a comment on that too !

Homemade Lip-Balm Tutorial

Hey!
Yes , I know it's been a long time , but I was extremely busy - still that's not an excuse , but , to make up for it ,I have plenty ( as in 2 or 3) posts planned ! Yay !
Today I wanted to share a really cute tutorial for lip-balms! At the moment everybody is going wild about these lip-balms called EOS , and as usual , i'm missing the trend (Only because I have already made plans for my monthly allowance , which sadly goes into next year , meaning it will be a long time till I can buy some EOS for myself !) Eventually I will get them , but that probably will be when the trend has died down , as I always get something just as the whole craze has ended !(Trust my awkwardness !) So whilst I wait for my allowance to buy everything I need at the moment , I decided to make my own lip-balms ! Hope you like this simple and easy tutorial !
Things you will need :
Chapstick (Be prepared to chop it !)
Vaseline
Small Tub ( or any small container )
Bowl
Knife
Spoon
Method :
So, start off by cutting a bit of chapstick (Around  1cm ) .Put the bit of chapstick in a bowl , and then crush it with a spoon .
Then scoop 1 tablespoon of Vaseline into the bowl , and mix both of the ingredients (yes I'm aware it sounds like we're baking a cake ) together .
Then put  the bowl into the microwave for 30 seconds . If you're using the same type of bowl I used make sure to transfer the mixture into a microwavable bowl .
After you take out the bowl , you can add any extra ingredients ( A different bit of chapstick etc.) This is completely optional .
You then scoop the final lip-balm  mixture into a small tub (or any other small container)  and leave it - without the lid - in the fridge overnight !
Finally , you can now apply the  lip-balm  to your lips !
So , there you go ! That's the tutorial for super sweet lip-balms ! If any of you guys try this out send me a picture ! I'd love to see your creations !

Skincare Tips & Tricks ~ Skin Friendly Make-Up Tutorial

Hey !
So I'm going to get straight into this . Today I wanted to talk about skincare , because a lot of people go through skin breakouts ~ and they don't know what to do with their skin , or how to make sure it doesn't happen again. Of course , everyone goes through a phase like this , if you don't , I'm jealous ;-)
1. My number one tip is don't wear foundation or concealer if you don't need to . Both of those things are used to cover spots etc . If you use them all the time it can cause wrinkles in your skin  , which you don't want .
Also , a quick tip from me ~ I like to apply a thin layer of cream ( olay) on my face before I apply foundation. That way the foundation isn't directly on my skin , therefore the chances of an allergic reaction are  minimal .
2. I'm sure I'm not the only one who HATES  dry scaly skin . To ensure that you never get dry skin always put cream on all areas of your body . Usually , during winter , we have to put even more cream on than we did in summer , because the cold winter air dries our skin a lot quicker than the hot summer air .
My number one tip for this is to apply cream just after you have finished your bath/shower .The water would have softened your skin , therefore making it easier for the cream to sink in ! The number one cream I would use is the Johnson Body Cream with Shea Butter . It honestly makes you feel like magic !

3.  This one is very important & your bound to have heard about it . It is ....never wear make-up to sleep ! If you do , you  may develop a lot of wrinkles , or spots ~ which you really don't want !
If you're incredibly tired & don't want to spend much time on removing your make-up , then try applying a thin layer of cream ( again , olay !) After that get a wipe and rub all the cream off your face . The wipe & cream will remove majority of your make-up & then all you need to do is to wipe off any left over eyeliner (or something like that!)
4. This is another obvious one , drink water ! Water keeps your skin looking great & healthy . My personal favourites are Evian , I'm joking , any water is fine , after all ~ water is water , right?
Tips ?Well apart from drinking water , it's often good to just splash some on your face maybe 2-3 times a day . Whatever you do , DO NOT over wash your face . Our face has a lot of  natural fluids , this often makes our face look oily ~ however when you over wash your face , the fluids on your face are removed , which exposes your skin to all the toxic air etc . The fluids, actually protect your skin , however you shouldn't leave it there to make your skin look oily , just be cautious whilst washing your face .
5. Face Masks & Body Lotions ! Recently I got a coupon for The Body Shop, I bought the lovely Early Harvested Raspberry Body Lotion , and two of their lovely face masks ! Body Lotions make your skin super soft & if you have one that smells nice , well... even better !! Face Masks make your face feel fresh and alive ,and  they get rid of all those horrid blackheads in a really relaxing way !  Body Butter ( Those cute little tubs in white ribbon !) makes your skin soft as well , except you don't apply it in the bath ! It's great to apply when you wake up , or just before you go to sleep !
6. My final mention is of course the nspa lip shines . These always make you're lips moist ( I really hate that word !) Let's think of another word to describe that.... nope ...nothing ! Oh well, these lip shines smell great and add a slight gloss to your lips , whilst keeping your lips lovely and soft ! Its great to just apply them before you sleep , or when you wake up - just to keep your lips feeling great!
Those are my top tips on skin care , now I'm going to show you a quick make-up tutorial , using my favourite skincare products!
So,  start of with washing your face , this will make you feel fresh !
Then , apply a thin layer of 'Olay Essentials :Double Action Nourishing & Protecting Sensitive Day Cream ' . Merge it into you face , and make sure its not showing anywhere on your face .
Then (if you need to !) Put some foundation on all the spots and red areas . The foundation I used is the Max Factor Ageless Elixir , in the colour Light Ivory , number 40 . Blend that in , with a brush ( mine was from the dirty works set !)
Then add concealer (if you need to !) The best way to apply this is to put it under your eye in a slight triangle shape .The concealer I used was the Mastertouch Under eye Concealer , in the colour Fair - number 306.
Then add a small amount of blusher . I don't know the brand of the blusher I used , but it was in the colour almond , number four ( basically just get an almond coloured blush !) A tip to apply blusher is to suck your cheeks in , and apply it to the area around the  ' sucked cheek ' .
You are then going to get the Natural Shadow & Primer Glow Palette 2 from Barry M. I'm now going to name each shade (Look at the photo)to make things easier (as I am very bad at explaining ! ;-) )  Starting with the lighter shade on the left :
Pale : Were Wolf : Brick :Shimmer :Chestnut : Dark Wood : Glaze ( I have no clue where that came from! )
So you start off with Shimmer , and apply that to the area of your eyelid closest to the nose ( See ? Very bad at explaining !) Keep that shade until you have covered around about a third of your eyelid , and then switch to Chestnut . Carry on with Chestnut for another third of your eyelid & then switch to Dark Wood (Which you carry on till the end of your eyelid ~ in an upwards angle) You then merge it together with a brush or your finger ( your choice !)You then do the same with the other eye .
Then get your Metallic Liquid Liner from Barry M , and just apply a very simple line to your upper lash line (is that right!?)
After that , you just apply the Show Girl Extra Volume Mascara from Barry M (Just two blinks and a shimmy ! ;-) )
To end our Skin Friendly Product Look, you're just going to apply two coats of Lancome :Juicy Tubes lip gloss ( I don't know what number - just a light pink !) And Voila ! The look is,finished !
I hope my tips helped you , and if you try out this make-up look send me a picture via email or direct message on Instagram !
                       Bye !

The Bedtime Tag

Hey !
So , it may seem odd that I have posted a lot recently , but actually for all you super detectives - you would have realised that I actually have posted 'Spa Fiasco' twice . This was because I , being clumsy ol' me , deleted the post - and as some bits in my February Favourites post didn't make sense without the Spa Fiasco - I had to post both again . I'm sorry for being a complete technology nutter!
Anyway - On with the post , I was watching Fleur DeForce on YouTube and she had filmed a video called the Bedtime Tag ! As I love doing tags + Bedtime - I decided to do this tag  for a bit of fun ! There are 9 questions - so let's get started !
Question 1: What are your favourite pyjamas ?
I don't really have any pyjamas that are my favourites ,  I usually just wear a baggy T-shirt & sweatpants etc . However if  I had to choose
one , I would go for this really nice pink nightgown that stops before my knee ,and has white cartoon horses on !
Question 2 :  Current Bedtime Read ?
The Maze Runner . It's a really good book so far , even though it does give me the chills before I sleep !(Well that was short!)
Question 3: What is on your bedside table ?
I would love to say something interesting , like a set of gems & fairy lights , but no - I just have  a large teddy bear & my make-up bag ( because I have no other place to put it !) If the question was what I had inside it , that would be way more interesting but it isn't , so darn !
Question 4 : Favourite Sleepy Scent ?
Hot Chocolate & Marshmallows ! Love those so much & they make me sleepy !Also apples - weird but I love the scent of apples !
Question 5 : What is your usual wakeup & go to bed time ?
I wake up at 6:30 am , because I am very busy & amazing ! ( I wish !) I just have to catch the bus early , so yeah ...exciting ! I go to sleep at 9-10 pm ish , because I like movies - let's leave it at that... ;-)
Question 6: Top 3 Bedtime Products
. Yankee Candles
.Champneys -Spa Heaven -Oriental Body Cream
.Marshmallows ( you can get these anywhere !)
Question 7: Most Common Sleeping Position?
It depends , to be honest . Sometimes I like to be completely tucked in , so with my duvet all around me tucked in so I look like a caterpillar ! Other times , I just like to leave my leg hanging out at the side and well maybe my whole body sometimes,( I know I'm strange !)
Question 8: Any Strange Bedtime Routines ?
Not Really , I tend to brush my teeth etc , and then go on my phone for a bit & then I just fall asleep , dreaming about McDonalds !
Question 9 : Big Spoon or Little Spoon ?
Big Spoon ! I do not like people touching /hugging me when  I'm sleeping so , well yeah - to be honest , when I saw this question I was like...is this about what you use to eat ice-cream? But no , its completely different, so ... that proves my knowledge of ...sleeping?
Anyway , that was the Bedtime Tag , hope you enjoyed reading about my awesome bedtimes ! (Wow , that sounds, weird !) I would love to know your answers to these questions, so of you do this tag , leave a link below to your post etc .
Bye !
*P.S I tag whoever wants to do this tag !*

February Favourites

Hey !
So I thought I would do a February Favourites Post ! So this morning I was literally rummaging around my room -looking for specific things that I had enjoyed this month. My room , being it's usual self did not cooperate as it was exceedingly messy... However ! I have found what I wanted , and now let me talk you through them . Some of these things I got as gifts , so that's why on the photos they don't have where I bought them from , sorry if that is an inconvenience ! Also , because I'm a complete computer nutter - I don't know whether I am telling you the name of the items in order of the photos - so sorry once again :-P
Silver Converse
First thing ! So , for Christmas I went to New York and I went shoe shopping ( before you start predicting - no I did not buy the shoes there !) I was looking for some ankle boots ( which I found - there are probably the best shoes I have - will post a pic later !) Whilst I was looking , I spotted some really nice silver converse . However - I couldn't buy both shoes - so I left it there . Recently we went shopping in this mall ( can't remember the name ...) I went with my mum , her friend and their children . My mum randomly decided to dump all the little kids on me to get her nails done with her friend ( classic!) So I took them to T.K max ( the closest shop near the nail studio ) Over there I took them to the shoe section & just for fun , I let them all pick some shoes to try on ! ( Obviously not to buy - i'm still a kid !) Whilst I looked for some shoes for myself I spotted the same silver converse ( I think anyway) that I had seen in the shop in New York. I instantly picked them & as a treat my mum bought it for me ! ( Just saying - my mum buying me stuff as a treat is VERY rare ) So that's how they have ended up in my favourites !  They are really comfy - and they came with some spare laces - so I thought that was good . They were £22 , after a discount - that may be expensive to some of you - and cheaper to others . For me is was reasonable - but I had needed some new shoes too .
Godiva Chocolate
Like I mentioned earlier - I went to New York . Whilst we were there - we bought quite a few chocolates ! ( me being a chocoholic !) Godiva was one of the brands ( as we don't get much in England !) And Oh my God ! They are delicious & I wish we had more in England but no... :-( . They lasted me till the start of February so that's why I decided to include them !
Teddy Slippers
I absolutely love these slippers ! I saw them in ASDA , and they were literally begging for me to pick them up ! My feet sink into them & they are so soft ! Also they are really cute , and because they don't have a festive pattern on , it makes them more suitable for months like ...February (Not just Christmas ) ?  Funny story , actually - I bought some Christmas tree gloves near Christmas , and they are adorable , don't get me wrong - but I still have to wear them on cold days because I don't have any other gloves - kinda sad - I tend to cover them up with my sleeves etc . I'm so awkward  :-\   The slippers were around £5 - £8 , so that was good . However I think I bought the wrong size , because they are quite big & tend to slip off my feet ( weird ~ first the cucumbers now these ...) I don't think that's a problem though - its just my awkward - long and narrow feet !
Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Biscuit
To be completely honest - these are always going to be in my favourites - because I love them so much ! I first had them when I was in year 3 & then my mum stopped buying them ( something about me eating way to many of them ;-)  ) Move on a few years and I spot them on the shelf in sainsburys and practically beg my mum to buy them - so now I have them quite regularly !  If you are worried whether its that gooey caramel - don't be , because it basically is a wafer biscuit with caremal sandwiching (is that a word )the wafers  together , then coated with milk chocolate - pure lushness ! Definitely recommend them . They come in a  range of packs so the prices vary ( 4 in one = £1.00 )
1989 D.L.X Album - Taylor Swift
So, if you are obsessed with Taylor Swift , like me , you probably have this already , and I know it came out in October - but I have been playing it non-stop ever since . My favourite songs are : How to get the girl , Style , Wonderland , Bad Blood , Wildest Dreams , Blank Space , Shake it Off  etc . ( I could go through the whole album !) It comes with  13 polaroid photos with handwritten lyrics - which is oh so cool ! I love Taylor Swift so much that I begged ( I seem to do a lot of begging) my parents to get me tickets to see her , and guess what - for my birthday they got me the tickets !! Obviously I will write about it more when the time comes nearer , but I have a good few months before that happens!  I haven't been to many concerts before , just one .I realised that I come across very spoilt as I usually seem to get what I want when I beg , but when I say beg - I mean I beg for a  period of 5 or so weeks ( I should do a post on how to beg your parents to do something !)  Also , my parents usually say no if its something unreasonable & I have to work my way to it by being a 'good' girl- so it doesn't just happen like that !
Impulse Body Fragrance - Very Very Pink
I actually got this a year ago & never really used it , because at the time I was using Charlie Red Revlon , but then that had run out because I had been using it for ages ( it is a very good deodorant ! I would have put it in my favourites but it ran out in January , so I never used it in February ! ) I was rummaging in my drawers and found the Impulse Body Fragrance , I gave it a shot and it is amazing . It is very strong and powerful & despite that it doesn't hurt when I spray it ! It also smells very nice ! The scent is Orange and Whitewood & it smells so airy fairy - I could smell it all day - but then I would look really weird , having my nose pressed against a deodorant bottle and all :-\   I really do love it though ! This was actually a gift from a friend - so I don't know where it came from - but you  find it in places like boots , superdrug etc.  (Same with Charlie Red Revlon ) I searched the prices in Superdrug and for a 100ml bottle it is £1.31 - which is a good price , nothing too fancy pancy .
Vaseline - Cocoa Radiant Body Gel
This was something that I used very recently ( yesterday to be precise )  I instantly fell in love with it . I'm not sure whether it counts as I only used it for one day in February , but I love it so much , so I had to put it in. It smells so nice ,and  it leaves your skin smelling like cocoa butter . The gel is soft and makes your skin smooth . In all  the other gels I have used , the scent washes away and I end up smelling normal , but this gel keeps the scent on my skin (I'm still smelling of cocoa butter !) It was around about £2 - £3 .  I don't know what else to say really, just GO AND BUY IT ! It is probably my favourite skin product here (Well its the only skin product in my favourites so....) I got it from Boots , but you should be able to get it anywhere , like superdrug , even sainsburys !
Natural Shadow & Primer Glow Palette 2 Barry M
Barry M is my favourite make-up brand at the moment (as you will see as I go on )  The reason this is in my favourites is because I love the colour of the shadows& I have been using this palette for practically everything . If you read my Would You Rather Beauty Edition post , then you should know that I am someone who likes natural eyes , so this palette is my most used  ! I got it from Superdrug and it was £6.49 . It comes with two mini brushes to apply the shadow &  it covers practically every make up look I have ever worn ! Barry M do other palettes too,  which are :
Smokin' Hot  (for smoky eyes I'm guessing !)
Super Chic Limited Edition ( this is a range of bright colours - yellows , blues & pinks etc. )
Starry Eyed Limited Edition  ( this is a range of golds , and midnight blues !)
Summer Love Limited Edition ( this is a range of pale pastel colours ! )
The original Natural Palette ( this has a bigger  range of browns than the Natural Palette 2 - however it has less variety of colours overall !)
Choose whatever palette you like , they are all amazing quality and from seeing pictures of them they all look original and unique .
SHOWGIRL  Extra Volume Black Mascara
This was also from Barry M . I love this mascara because it gives more volume to my lashes .Also I find the packaging super cute & I just love the product overall. It is really easy to apply & it is also easy to remove !  I wear it with everything - its my number one mascara ! It never leaves my lashes sticky & you may think I'm weird but I like feeling my lashes once I have applied this mascara - I don't know why - but if you buy it , feel your lashes after you have applied it & then comment whether you think it feels nice or not ! There is also another type of this mascara which adds length to your lashes . The packaging is the same , except it has a silver background & black lettering . I haven't tried out that mascara , but I assume its just as good !
Metallic Liquid Eyeliner Barry M
Once again, another Barry M product . This eyeliner is in my favourites because it is different to the typical jet black liner. It has a silver & sparkly look to it , and looks amazing with practically any eye-shadow . I also love it , because it is easy to apply , as the nib is thin and pointy and I don't need to worry about accidently smudging my eyes . I generally prefer liquid liners because I think  they give a more defined finish , than a pencil . I have used it a lot this February & I thought it deserved a mention for being my number 1 - easy to apply eyeliner !
Revlon Lipstick - Brickstone 49
This has been my favourite lip product ever since January ! I found it with all my mum's make up ( whilst I was looking for things to sneakily steal sshhh !) I gave it a go , and I fell in love with it . I am a lip person , meaning I generally like bold colours on my lips & this lipstick does the trick. It is a lovely , mature (if you can describe colours like that ) red . It isn't a big chunky lipstick , instead it is thin and very easy to apply . However , a bit of a disclaimer - after I apply it ,my lips tend to tingle - I think its because my lips are very sensitive , so its nothing wrong with the lipstick - but I just felt that was worth a quick mention ! I also have another lipstick which is called 'rulberry' number 48 . It is a very similar shade to brickstone  , however it is more of a bergundy colour ! Both are lovely , but I prefer brickstone , because I like more bolder colours !
Nintendogs Golden Retriever Stuffed Toy
Last thing ! So this is a bit random , but I found this hidden somewhere in my room and fell in love with it's cuteness . I remember when I was 5 (something like that anyway) I went into Toys 'R' Us , with my dad - and I found this and my dad then bought it for me , because I think I had just won an award in school ( because he usually wouldn't have bought me anything ) I was obsessed with it , but then it eventually got put away , and I forgot about it . And then , whilst I was re - inventing my room , because it was (and still is )so boring , I found it again & as I am a person who buys & collects ANYTHING cute - I kept it on my window sill & I love looking at it everyday because it reminds me of when I was 5 (something like that)  I have been loving it especially in February though , I don't know why - maybe because its been really tough this month and it just reminds me to stay happy - or maybe its because  my sister tried to steal it & I hate her touching anything that belongs to me - so I weirdly got attached to it - either way - I love this puppy way too much ;-)
So , that was my February Favourites! (You do not know how long it took to write this !!) Thanks for reading & if you have , or you are going to buy one of these things please leave a comment telling me your opinions on these things - I do love a good old comment !
               Bye !

Spa Fiasco

Hey !
So , I decided to write about this incident that happened to me recently , because it is very funny & true , and it also proves that I , above all people am NOT PERFECT .
So , a week ago, I decided to have a relaxing pamper evening . I don't think I've ever had one before , so I was very new to the whole face mask thing . I had come out of the bath and I had started to put the face mask on my face .
I thought it had gone swell , and I was so excited about it being my first face mask , that I kept on going over and over the original mask. Im actually not sure whether your supposed to that , or whether it's just one layer ...(please comment what you are supposed to do !) So, after I had basically finished the one sachet , I went back into the tub , and like I had seen lots of other people do , I put two cucumbers on my eyes .
However , I honestly don't know how people manage to keep them on because mone kept slipping down my cheeks , leaving my eyes feeling super blurry. Eventually , I just held them there , which defeats the point of relaxing ...
After( When I had just had enough with the cucumbers !) I threw them in the bin ( I don't think people would like to eat face mask covered cucumbers - even if it was a chocolate face mask !) I wrapped my hair in a towel and just watched YouTube in my onzie .
Then I removed my face mask - which actually was really upsetting because I had grown really attached to that thing ... :-( - anyway , after I removed it , I just put some cream on my face - and just painted my nails etc. I then went down for dinner , and my mum said
'What's happened to your eyebrows ?'
I literally ran to the downstairs mirror and glared at my reflection because my eyebrows had turned into a huge bush . Looking back , I think it was because I had applied my face mask over my eyebrows , so it may have - I don't know - made it darker and fluffier(Is that even a word ? )
I think , after that I spent an hour just thoroughly rubbing my eyebrows . Wow... great pamper evening !
I sure did love it , apart from all the rubbing & slippery cucumbers etc - but at least now I know how to have a proper pamper evening without being super messy - and looking like ...*tries to think of someone famous with bushy eyebrows* ...*gives up* ...someone with mega bushy eyebrows ! :-)
Thanks for reading !
Bye !

I Can't Believe My Family Takes Selfies !!

Hey,

The other day I was just scrolling through my mum's camera roll ( probably 200 + pictures ) As I was scrolling through the pictures , I saw a selfie that my mum had taken . I was shocked . I kept on scrolling and soon alot more selfies came up. They weren't pouty selfies , they were just selfies - serious selfies .It came to my attention that she had also downloaded Retrica ( An amazing selfie taking app )
My friend  added her as a contact ( Don't ask why , Even I don't know myself to be honest ;-P ) Which means that she has access to my mum's whatsapp profile pictures , which always tend to be my mum's selfies ...
My mum isn't the only person in my family 'in touch' with  their inner '20th Century Life ' ( I had no other words to describe that ...) My dad once texted me 'Lol' . I was really surprised , because my dad is generally a very formal man , I also felt  slightly embarrassed  because my friends were right next to me when the text came , and they looked at me as if I was completely mad . Luckily , i'm not the only one with parents who are completely bonkers . One of my best friend's parents think they are super cool too , I think one of them even has snapchat !
Sadly , it doesn't end there. I was talking to my grandparents over the phone as they live in India , and my grandad said 'Why don't you take a selfie and send it to us ?'  I nearly fainted because I didn't even know 'selfie' was in their vocabulary . That's not all , my grandma , then said , ' When  I take selfies they make me look different ' I didn't even know she took selfies ;-P
I added her on whatsapp and as my profile picture only shows  half of my face she sent me a message saying ' The picture is not clear , I can only see half of your face ' . I responded saying           ' Don't Worry - it's a style of selfie taking ' , her response made me laugh in a good way 'Oh i'm so sorry , I did not know it was a style *inserts distraught face*' Okay so the insert  distraught face bit was just because computers don't have emogis , but she actually had sent an emogi ( if that makes sense !) So , I then sent a picture of my sister and I  . I smiled because I feel that pouting is inappropriate for grandmas ( even if they do take selfies ) You would have expected my little sister to smile too , but no - my sister went for a full on pout . I guess I have myself to blame - for many reasons ...

  • One- I take alot of pouty selfies around her .
  • Two- I encourage her to pout in pictures to annoy my dad ( I know right , he likes abbreviations but no pouting - How could he ?! )
  • Three - Well.... I may have given her lessons on how to take an awesome selfie along with my friend...
Ermmm... well , if you think about it , it's only 3 reasons  , so it can't completely be my fault , can it ?Maybe it can ...

I bet there are alot more people with selfie taking grandmas - abbreviating dads - pouting sisters  etc. If you have another embarrassing relative - feel free to comment down what they do ! It will be very funny  to read some of them , and maybe some of us can relate to you !Think of it as a good old chat about our mad ones ;-)
                                 Bye !

Would You Rather Tag - Beauty Edition

Hey !

So this is my second post , and I have decided to do the 'Would You Rather Tag -Beauty Edition' . This basically is a bunch of questions about beauty. I thought this would be fun , and as I am a mega beauty-a-holic (is that even a thing ?) I thought it would be interesting . So here goes nothing !

Question 1 - Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner , or eyeliner as lipstick ?

I would probably choose eyeliner as lipstick, because bright pink and red eyes would just look weird , and at least if you have black lips you can pass off as a goth , couldn't you ? :-P

Question 2 - Would you rather never be able to fill your eyebrows , or only use a sharpie to fill them ?

I would say never fill them , because i'm not really an eyebrow person ,  I rarely need to fill them .

Question 3 - Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life ?

That's a tough one ...I  think I would go for one eyeshadow colour for the rest of my life , because I usually go for  a natural colour  , and if you have, for example , blue eyeshadow only a small selection of  lip shades go with it , whereas nude eyes go with loads of lip shades !

Question 4 -Would you rather where dark or bright nails all year round ?

I think I would choose bright nails , because I generally like bright nails , and I usually wear them anyway , so it wouldn't be a great loss if I couldn't wear dark nails .

Question 5 - Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or eye product ?

Lip product because my favourite eye product has a variety of shades in it ( Barry M  Natural Shadow and Primer Glow palette 2 ) Whereas my favourite lip product ( Revlon - number 49 - Brickstone ) is only 1 colour .

Question 6 - Would you rather go out with messy hair & make-up , or nice hair & no make-up ?

Messy hair & Make-up , because I can always scrape my hair into a messy bun , or ponytail etc.

Question 7 - Would you rather have neon green hair , or wear neon green lipstick for the rest of your life ?

I would rather have neon green hair , because I could do more with it , and I  wouldn't look like puffy lipped frog (if you get what I mean )

Question 8- Would you rather wear your make-up all the time(even when you sleep!) , or never wear it ?

I would never wear it , because  it's bad for your skin, if you wear it all the time. Also it would smudge if you cried or accidentally rub it off etc.

So , that was the 'Would you rather  Tag-Beauty Edition ' . I randomly chose questions from youtube videos & Google  , as there were LOADS of questions , and I couldn't possibly answer them all . I hoped you enjoyed this post , and feel free to comment what you would have chosen  and why ,

Thanks  for reading !( I should get  special greeting and 'goodbye' words ;-P )

Introducing...Me...!

Hey !

I don't really know where to start , this is my blog . I have wanted to make one for ages , but I was stuck on ideas of what to call it  , and I think I worried a bit too much about whether the public would like my posts or not .
If you are wondering , what 'beti' means , it means daughter/girl. I decided to make this blog because I just wanted my own internet space .
This blog is where i'm going to just be me . I don't want to reveal myself because I like the idea of blogging under a secret identity , and also I just want to be myself without being judged . I'm not even going to tell my friends . My parents know , but that's because i'm hopeless at keeping secrets and because I don't have my own laptop (yet !) I have to use my mum's , and she would get suspicious if I always hog the laptop . Also I trust them not to tell ANYONE , even though when I was little my mum would have a meeting with her friends where they would all gossip about their own child's life , my mum shared some pretty dark secrets , even though she acts as if it never happened  , when you ask her now.
I feel that girls generally seem to be more insecure than boys. You don't always have to look perfect , half of the time , i'm in a hoodie and sweatpants ! I do love beauty though , it's probably one of my guilty pleasures , saying that , I don't wear make-up ALL the time , just when i'm going out , or if I just want to , I don't know ? Pretend i'm a supermodel ? Yep , I like to imagine unreal things , i'm a bit of a daydreamer ;-)
Since this blog is anonymous , there will be no selfies , or pictures of my family . There will be pictures though , just not of them .
I'm not going to reveal my age , my postcode  , or anything like that . At the moment I don't have any social media specifically for my blog , so for the time being ignore the social media icons ;-) Despite this , I do have a special email for your questions , which is : betionlinemail@gmail.com . I bet 50% of you thought that was a link , haha ;-)
If anyone actually read this , thanks ! And please feel free to comment what you want to read ! If I can , I will post them , but remember I can't always do everything , and to be honest , it is going to be a bit quiet initially , but that's okay , because no one is going to get 1000 followers overnight , right?
Until my next post -Bye !
